Assad forces clash with Iranian militia in al-Bukamal

On September 18, 2020, Assad forces clashed with fighters from the 47th Regiment militia in the city of al-Bukamal, eastern Deir Ezzor.

The clashes occurred near the bread bakery and they lasted a while.

Tension arose between both sides four days ago amidst constant provocations.
