Yesterday, Thursday, the tribes of Ash-Shahil town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside reached an agreement to prevent random firing in the town in all events, and those who do that will be held accountable.
According to a statement that Deir Ezzor 24 network obtained a copy of, al-Talaa tribe in the town decided to prevent firing for any reason, and whoever shoots will be rejected by the tribe and will be held accountable for his actions.
The tribes threatened that it will renounce anyone who shoot during public and private events. and also said that if some people are unable to control the actions of their sons, the tribe will take firm measures to stop them. The statement, which came hours after a civilian was killed by random gunfire, was signed by dozens of elders of Ash-Shahil town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
