A new massacre was carried out yesterday in the Granij town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor after six civilians were killed in airstrikes which are believed to have been carried out by the coalition.
In details, alleged coalition aircraft carried out an airstrikes on the house of the civilian Khadr Abdullah in the Samrah neighbourhood in the Granij town as Daesh affiliates were raiding the house, which led to the killing of Ilyass and several of those affiliates. In addition, as the wounded were being rescued the aircraft returned and struck the same target killing five civilians, including three women and a child.
The death toll might increase due to the huge number of the injured and because rescue operations to pull out those trapped under the rubble are still ongoing. The strikes have destroyed many residential buildings.
