On Thursday, December 25, 2020, the al-Quds Liwaa militia deployed 30 fighters to the town of al-Jalaa in the al-Bukamal countryside, eastern Deir Ezzor. The fighters established temporary checkpoints in al-Jalaa.
The so-called al-Harbi group deployed to al-Jalaa with the al-Quds Liwaa militia.
At the sunset, the fighters withdrew from the checkpoints to the city of al-Mayadeen.
The Liwaa al-Quds militia has no posts in al-Jalaa, as the reason for deploying its fighters are unknown.
