On Saturday August 15, 2020, Muhammad al-Aziz cheif of the Autonomous Administration Agriculture Committee of the Deir Ezzor Military Council survived an assassination attempt. A bomb exploded in al-Aziz’s car on the Abu Khashap road.
The explosion damaged al-Aziz’s car as he survived.
Attacks against civil administration members in Deir Ezzor increased over the recent days. The perpetrators of the attacks remain anonymous, with the existence of Daesh and Iran and Assad forces active groups in the area.
