The second phase of vaccinations for children in Ma’dan district, in the western Deir ez-Zor countryside, began in the past few days, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24
Our reporter said that the vaccination campaign has entered its second phase, with mobile campaigns conducted in residential neighborhoods and main streets in Ma’dan by a team from the district’s health center.
In addition to the mobile teams, vaccinations are being administered at the Ma’dan district’s health clinic. Teams will be deployed to distribute these vaccines to children in neighboring villages, with the goal of full coverage.
The nursing team leading the campaign emphasized that vaccinations are essential for children, aiming to boost their immune systems and protect them from chronic diseases in the future. The vaccines are stored at low temperatures according to international medical standards and are administered by specialized nurses.
This vaccination campaign is the first of its kind in Ma’dan district in two years. Previously, residents had traveled to Deir Ezzor city to receive vaccinations for their children, while others had traveled to Raqqa city to receive vaccinations for their young children.
