The Deir Ezzor Health Directorate has begun a national vaccination campaign in order to complete the vaccination for children who have not yet been vaccinated by the vaccination programs team, whose ages range from one day to five.
In an interview by DeirEzzor24 Network with Reem Ahmed Al-Haiji, the technical assistant for public health at the Health Directorate, Al-Haiji clarified that the campaign aims to protect children from several serious diseases, such as hepatitis, polio, measles, and tuberculosis.
Al-Haiji confirmed that health teams have finished their duties in the villages and towns of the Deir Ezzor countryside and have now started the second phase of the campaign through mobile teams vaccinating children in the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city.
Concluding her remarks, Al-Haiji urged residents to cooperate with health teams and respond to vaccination calls, emphasizing that vaccination is the most important means of preventing disease and preserving children’s health and future.
