The industrial zone in the city of Deir Ezzor has recently witnessed significant commercial activity in the sale of spare parts and the maintenance of agricultural vehicles and cars.
Dozens of car repair shops using modern (computerized) methods have opened in the industrial area of Deir Ezzor, amid the growing demand from vehicle owners to carry out maintenance within the city instead of going to other areas.
Abdul Qader Al-Matar, a mechanic, told DeirEzzor24 that business activity has improved greatly and noticeably in recent times, thanks to the availability of car parts and the necessary inspection equipment, which has encouraged car and vehicle owners to carry out maintenance in Deir Ezzor.
He added that this improvement has led industrial shops to double workers’ wages and to hire more young people, thereby providing new job opportunities.
It is worth noting that dozens of commercial shops are now operating until late at night due to the high demand for their services.
