Today, Sunday 27-4-2020, gunmen targeted an SDF commander, Fawaz al-Kraidi, known as Abu Hammam, with an explosive device in Jedid Bakara village east of Deir Ezzor, slightly injuring him, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Following the incident, the SDF launched raids on several places in Jedid Bakara town in search of Daesh operatives and cells, our correspondent added.
It is indicated that Al-Kraidi was an operative of Daesh before defecting and joining the Syrian democratic forces.
It is worth mentioning that a day before the incident, gunmen, believed to belong to Daesh, targeted an SDF commander, known as Abu Saddam al-Kuwaiti from Al-Sabha town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, which led to his death, and he was also one of the former members of the organization, which indicates that the organization is targeting all its former members who are working with the SDF now.
