A 10-years-old child has drowned in the Euphrates River while attempting to bring water from the river to his family living in the besieged areas of Deir Ezzor.
The besieged neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor are facing a total absence of drinkable water. The Assad-regime tries to justify this hazardous situation by saying they are not able to operate the water stations due to the unavailability of fuel caused by the siege imposed on its held areas by Daesh.
More than 200 thousand civilians are going through miserable and deplorable life conditions in the besieged neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor, such as al-Joura, al-Qusour and Harabish, in light of the lack of basic human needs from food and water to medicine as a result of the blockade imposed by Daesh.
