After the appointments of the provincial council in Deir Ezzor and the appointments of heads and members of the executive offices of city councils, the appointments of country and municipal councils began this morning with a formal electoral cover like their predecessors.
According to an exclusive source for DeirEzzor24 network, the appointments of the people in the council were made by the Baath Party branch and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia, and with recommendations from the heads of the security branches after excluding independent members of the party and those who are wanted for compulsory and reserve service.
The heads of some city councils in the countryside of the cities of Al-Mayadin and Al-Bukamal were chosen from among the pilgrims of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, who were known to be loyal to the demands of the Iranian militias and contribute to the spread of Shiism in the region.
