DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps officially handed over the rural development building in the Hrabish neighborhood to the Deir Ezzor Agriculture Directorate after five years of demands by the Directorate of Agriculture.
Our correspondent added that the aforementioned building was the headquarters of the Fatemiyoun militia and turned part of it into a workshop for the manufacture of shells and explosives in 2017. At that time, it sough assisstance from the Hadi groups led by the so-called “Samer Al-Soufan”, then turned it into an administrative headquarters similar to Nasr’s headquarters in the old Education Directorate building on Port Said Street, in addition to a garage for some vehicles Iranian Revolutionary Guard Militia.
He confirmed that the handed over building had its surroundings attacked several times with US and Israeli air strikes, and its contents had been transferred to other headquarters and Deir Ezzor Military Airport.
The Directorate of Agriculture in Deir Ezzor received the construction at the beginning of this month, and it was put within the plan of the General Secretariat of Deir Ezzor Governorate, with a tender for the restoration of its first floor as a first stage, at an estimated cost of approximately 150 million Syrian pounds.
