The Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor excluded “Khalaf Al-Asaad”, who hails from the town of Marat, east of Deir Ezzor, from the candidacy of the provincial council, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the party branch excluded “Al-Assaad” from the independent candidates, category (A), despite the approval of his candidacy in advance.
He added that the exclusion of “Al-Assaad” came after reviewing his biography in several previous publications, which were characterized by colorful attitudes and being in the arms of everyone.
It is noteworthy that Al-Assaad was a member of Daesh and then a member of the SDF before returning to the regime and placing himself at the disposal of the regime’s forces and Iranian militias.
