The patrol officers charge 10,000 SYP for filling diesel without having to stand in queues, which led to quarrels between the patrol members and civilians and the arrest of two young men accused of resisting and attacking the patrol.
These incidents come in the context of the deliberate course of the Assad regime’s patrols and militias, taking advantage of crises to blackmail the people and obtain material gains from them through illegal means, which means that the arms of corruption and bribery extend to all fields.
