Fayez Hassoun al-Hussein, from the sons of al-Bosraya in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, topped the results of the farmers union elections in the province, in addition to Muhammad al-Asheq occupying the second place, and Ramadan and al-Najars in the third and fourth positions.

Obtaining the highest votes does not mean obtaining the Union chairs, as the decision rests with Damascus, and the appointment comes against the backdrop of the recommendation of the Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor, while the amount of the bribe to obtain the presidency is 30 million Syrian pounds.

It is noteworthy that Khazzan al-Sahwa, from the town of Gharanij, ranked seventh.
