Yesterday, the city of Al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor witnessed the deployment of patrols affiliated with the Iranian Security Office in the streets and markets of the city, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network reported.
Our correspondent said that the patrols had a list of names of those wanted on various charges, including defecting from its ranks or photographing its military sites for “foreign parties”.
It is noteworthy that the patrols stopped a number of passersby and asked for their identification papers and checked them, and these practices led to the closure of most of the shops in the city.
