Over the past few days, the Russian aircraft have been carrying out intensive overflight of several sites in the badiyah of Deir Ezzor (west of the Euphrates), according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.

Our correspondent added that these overflights came in conjunction with mobilization of the National Defense Militia (NDF), the 17th Infantry Division, the Republican Guard, and Assad forces’ 4th Division to comb the western and eastern badiyah of Deir Ezzor.

Daesh has recently decreased its activity and operations in the region, and limited its operations to planting mines and IEDs.
