On Sunday’ morning, unknown fighters committed a heinous crime in the city of Deir Ezzor. It was not known whether the fighters belong to the Assad forces, National Defense militia, or Iranian militias.
The three fighters dressed in military uniforms raped a woman in al-Sheikh Yaseen neighborhood after they tied her and her husband. The fighters raped the woman successively and stole pieces of jewelry and money before they escaped.
The couple were in the neighborhood to check their house that has been deserted for years. The fighters stormed the house and committed the crime.
Intensified patrols of police and security branches deployed to al-Sheikh Yaseen, al-Hamidiyah, al-Mattar al-Qadeem, Kanamat neighborhoods, and the Ghassan Aboud roundabout area to search for the perpetrators.
