Daesh has managed to shoot down a fighter jet belonging to Assad’s forces in the vicinity of Al-Bukamal in eastern Deir Ezzor amidst heavy clashes between both parties.
The organization announced that the crew of the downed jet ( two pilots) were captured in the vicinity of the Buqaan village in the countryside of Al-Bukamal, without saying anything about the kind of weapons it used to bring the jet down. In addition, it claimed two VBIEDs attacks against gatherings of Assad’s forces in the west of the Salhiyah village northwest of Al Bukamal.
Several days ago, Daesh released a long video that included scenes showing the execution of a regime pilot by burning him alive. The executed had been captured in the countryside of Damascus.
Clashes continue between Assad’s forces and Daesh in the vicinity of Al-Bukamal city, which the regime announced it captured last month.
