The Assad forces and the al-Quds Liwaa Militia launched a campaign to seize houses and fields in the town of Ayash in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.
With spies’ help, the Assad regime seized oppositionists’ fields and real estate property. The oppositionists live outside the Assad regime-controlled areas.
The Assad regime will prepare the seized fields for investment; however, the regime handed over the houses to the al-Quds Liwaa Militia to turn them into military headquarters.
The al-Quds Liwaa Militia operates in western Deir Ezzor, west of the Euphrates at the Assad regime’s blessing. The Assad regime facilitates the militia’s affairs.
