A source told Deir Ezzor 24 that the leadership of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia (IRGC) decided to increase the salaries of its members, on the orders of Hajj Askar, a leader of the militia.

According to the source, the members, whose monthly salary is 50,000 Syrian pounds or less per member, will receive a salary increase of about 5,000 to 10,000 Syrian pounds per member.

The source confirmed that the leadership issued this increase because the militia members showed impatience and dissatisfaction with their salaries especially after prices rose significantly due to the fall of the Syrian pound against the dollar.

Before this increase, the IRGC leadership issued a previous one with US dollar for its foreign members.
