After the battles in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside in the villages close to the Iraqi border, Daesh now controls very small parts of Al-Marashdah village, Al-Arqoub and some orchards of Al-Sussah town.
In the recent days, the SDF have made progress in Al-Marashdah village, and the rest of the village is now under fire after the rapid intervention forces were brought to the area to end the rest of the battle.
While parts of Al-Baghuz Fawqani town and Al-Safafnah area in Al-Baghuz town are still under Daesh control.
And a large number of civilians are trapped in these areas, which are still under the control of the organization because the SDF have blocked the way out after the recent battles with the organization.
It is noteworthy that in addition to the recent great losses of the organization, it is now troubled because of the lack of ammunition and food, and a large number of its leaders have fled the besieged areas in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
