Four children died today in the temporary camp of Al-Suwar, which was set up by the SDF to receive displaced people from Al-Baghuz town and nearby areas.
According to D24 network correspondent, the four children died of malnutrition, severe cold in the camp, lack of medical services, the SDF’s neglect of their deteriorating health condition, and preventing their relatives from taking them at the beginning to a hospital outside the camp when their health started to deteriorate.
One day before the four children died in Al-Suwar camp, a woman died during childbirth due to lack of medical care in Al-Suwar camp and the prevention of taking her to a hospital by the SDF.
The camp houses more than 1,000 displaced people gathered by the SDF in just 4 large tents, where these tents lack the most basic necessities of life, no bedding or blankets for the displaced people, and no medical points.
It is noteworthy that the SDF have been covering up the incidents of the repeated deaths which happened in Al-Suwar camp, and they moved today a number of families from Al-Suwar camp in Deir Ezzor to Al-Hol camp in the eastern Hasakah countryside.
