Militias supported by Iran fought with the National Defense militias near the Ein Ali area in the countryside of Al-Quriyah city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
Sources for D24 network indicated that an element of the Iranian Fatimiyeon Brigade, Muhammad Musleh Al-Khalouf, fired directly at an element of the National Defence in the Ein Ali area, killing him immediately.
The friction between the Fatimiyeon Brigade and the National Defense was over the guard shifts at the shrines established by Iran in Ein Ali, east of Deir Ezzor.
As a result, the Iranian militias have reinforced their military presence in the Ein Ali area, fearing any development with the National Defence elements in Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that “Ein Ali” is a water spring, and when the Assad regime returned and the pro-Iranian militias took control of the area, they transformed it into a Shiite shrine, directly supervised by Iranian militias.
