Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said that the customs and taxes imposed on passengers and goods on the river crossings and main roads in the areas controlled by Assad regime in Deir Ezzor have been absent.
According to our correspondent, the reason for that is that the 4th Division members of Assad forces have evacuated their checkpoints in Deir Ezzor for unknown reasons.
He confirmed that members of the 4th Division have not left Deir Ezzor province but withdrew to their headquarters in the vicinity of the city.
It is indicated that the 4th Division’s checkpoints have imposed customs and taxes on passengers and goods in Deir Ezzor, and that people have complained about that more than once with total indifference by Assad regime.
