10 days deadline to settle the status of private bakeries in Hasakah within the ” The Best Loaf” program

The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Hasakah announced that it has given owners of private semi-automatic ovens receiving food flour a period of 10 days to settle the administrative and legal status of their ovens, as part of the continued implementation of the “Best Loaf” program.

The Directorate called on bakery owners to complete the documents and proofs required by the Department of Materials and Food Security within the specified period, warning against upgrading the violating bakery from the records in the event of non-compliance with work and bread production.

The Directorate explained that work on all special semi-automatic ovens will begin as of October 1, 2026 at five in the morning, with bread production starting at six in the morning.

The Directorate also gave bakery owners a 45-day deadline to carry out maintenance and rehabilitation work, ensuring that buildings and production lines comply with approved technical and health conditions.

The Directorate called on those wishing to carry out maintenance or rehabilitation work to submit a written request to the Department of Materials and Food Security, stressing the need to adhere to the specifications regulating bread production, especially with regard to the quality of the loaf, and the approved food price and weight.
