Syrian Civil Defense teams from the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate in Deir Ezzor Governorate responded to 15 fires that broke out in different areas of the governorate during the past 48 hours, and were able to extinguish them and limit their spread.
The fires included harvested lands, grasses, trees, forests, and a firewood store, in addition to the burning of a car inside a shop, a warehouse , and waste, as well as a fire in the Thayme field.
The fire sites were distributed between the cities and towns of Al-Tebni , Al-Mayadeen, Deir Ezzor Al-Kober, Shuwaihan, Al-Jalaa, Bokros Al-Tahtani, and Al-Masrab.
Civil defense teams worked to secure the sites and prevent the fire from spreading to agricultural lands and nearby properties, confirming their readiness to respond quickly to various reports in order to preserve the safety of civilians and their property.
