The Directorate of Sports and Youth in Deir Ezzor honored the players who won first places in the Republic’s chess and karate championships, in appreciation of their sporting achievements and excellence in local competitions.
The Director of the Directorate, Aktham Al-Hamshari, in the presence of the Head of the Individual Games Office, Moathe Al-Saleh, handed over shields of honor to chess player Ward Al-Mohsen, and karate players Saif Al-Din Diab, Wael Al-Hamoud, and Mahmoud Diab, in appreciation of their winning gold medals and their honorable representation of Deir Ezzor Governorate in the Republic Championships.
The Directorate of Sports and Youth confirmed that this honor comes within the framework of supporting athletes and motivating them to continue achieving achievements, and encouraging sports talents to exert more effort and excellence, which contributes to strengthening the governorate’s presence in various sports forums.
