The implementation workshop in the Deir Ezzor Communications branch restored service to a number of subscribers in Al-Hamidiyah neighborhood, after addressing a malfunction resulting from the theft of three telephone boxes and their cables in the path feeding the neighborhood center.
Field investigations revealed that the theft had caused service outages for a number of subscribers, requiring the workshop to intervene to carry out emergency maintenance that included reconnecting the boxes, installing them, and putting them into service. This contributed to restoring communications to normal.
The Syrian Telecommunications Company called on citizens to report any suspected cases of theft of cables or network equipment, in order to preserve the continuity of communications services and speed up the handling of faults.
