Under the patronage of UNICEF and with the participation of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, a workshop on Early Childhood was held in Aleppo Governorate. This phase refers to the age group from birth to 8 years old.
The workshop included representatives from the three eastern provinces (Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, and Hasakah), with the aim of drafting a national strategy for addressing the early childhood stage in alignment with the current national context, and placing appropriate focus on children according to their developmental age.
The workshop covered several key areas related to early childhood, particularly learning and education, health-related aspects, the development of children’s life skills, and the need for coordination between governmental and non-governmental entities to support projects concerned with this field. The workshop lasted for two days and was held at the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Aleppo.
