Today, most of the streets of the city of Deir Ezzor are empty of young people as the latter fear security prosecution and arrest, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
According to the reporter, Assad’s forces and Iranian militias conducted many patrols in the streets of Deir Ezzor, searching for young men who failed to perform mandatory service.
Most of the young men were forced to hide inside their homes, and movement on the streets was limited to women and children.
