The Russian general of the Russian forces in Deir Ezzor held a meeting yesterday at the Russian reconciliation center in the town of Hatla, northeast of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
The meeting included notables and mukhtars of the seven villages controlled by Assad’s forces and militias east of the Euphrates, and included strict instructions to report any presence of Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia members, and to emphasize the region’s subordination to Russian hegemony and not to abandon it under any circumstances.
In the past few days, the seven villages witnessed the presence of missile launchers and mortar weapons, belonging to the Iranian militias, targeting the two global coalition bases in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the “Omar Field” and the “Conico Gas” plant.
