DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The so-called “Tariq Yassin Al-Mayouf”, nicknamed “Abu Aqil”, appeared in the town of Hatla, northeast of Deir Ezzor, two days ago, after an absence of more than two years, which he spent traveling between Athriya in Hama countryside and Al-Qusayr in Idlib countryside and Aleppo countryside as a commander in the Syrian Hezbollah militia, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network reported.
Our correspondent said that opinions differed about the return of “Al-Mayouf” between his attendance at the funeral of the so-called “Khaled Salama Al-Khalaf” and his intention to open a gas station (Al-Mayouf Gas Station) located at the Al-Halabiya Roundabout, north of Deir Ezzor, or to assume other tasks that were occupied by Al-Khalaf.
“Al-Ma’youf” comes from a family that is the most famous in Deir Ezzor in terms of Shi’ism, and has strong relations with the commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia.
