DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The people of Deir Ezzor province are going through tough living conditions for they are facing one crisis after another, the latest of which is the almost complete loss of milk for children, which poses a direct threat to the nutrition of children and portends a humanitarian crisis.
The United Nations organizations suspended the distribution of milk some time ago, with the complicity of major importers of it, who have a relationship with the powerful and the commanders of the branches of the Assad regime.
The price of a carton of milk for children reached about 12,000 SYP, according to the fees, fines, and taxes imposed by the Assad militia’s checkpoints, while it was sold for 400 SYP.
