The 10-year-old child, Ahmed Muhammad Al-Falih Al-Hafuz, from the Al-Hawi neighborhood in Marat, died, and two other children were injured, as a landmine exploded in Al-Sha’ira near the homes of their relatives. The body was transferred with the wounded to Al-Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor.
The statistics of victims of mines and unexploded remnants of war that were planted by the parties that fought for control of the areas, whether Iranian and Russian militias or Daesh, are still increasing, with an estimated 5 victims per month from the people of Deir Ezzor.
These incidents affect the outskirts of the Euphrates River, where many victims of magnetic mines from fishermen were recorded, near the Russian bridge, which were recently planted by the Russian protection battalion on the bridge.
