The city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, is experiencing an extreme decline in the health sector, including hospitals, centers, and health stuff , according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.
The doctor “Hassan Ali Al-Abdullah”, who is responsible for the health center in the city of Al-Mayadeen, told the Deir Ezzor 24 Network that
the area needs rehabilitation, whether for health centers or hospitals.
He added, “There is no public hospital in Al-Mayadeen, and the health situation is bad due to the lack of personnel and doctors, the lack of medicines, and the great pressure on the center.”
Several hospitals in the city of Al-Mayadeen, such as the Modern Medicine Hospital and the National Hospital, were completely destroyed due to the systematic bombing by Assad’s forces that targeted public facilities and vital buildings in the city.
