Today, the SARC resumed the distribution of food supplies to trapped civilians in the besieged neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor, which have been subjected to a crippling siege imposed by Daesh for two years.
The resuming of food distribution came after a two-month halt.
Every parcels consists of 5 kg of lentils, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of bulgur and 1 kg of salt.
The delivery of food will be as follows:
On December 06: The distribution will take place in the Humeidiyah neighborhood
On December 07: Al-Omal and the Rushdiya neighborhood
On December 08: The Kanamat and Al-Orafi neighborhoods
It should be noted that the United Nation Food Program delivers those humanitarian supplies via Russian cargo planes to the SARC. The airdropping of food shipments has halted for 15 days now and there reports that it will be resumed soon.
