Local media outlets in Al-Hasakah province reported that the the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) transported around 228 displaced civilians from the Hawl Camp to the Qami shli Airport from which they will be sent to Damascus. This comes amid calls and appeals by the displaced civilians who are attempting to reach Damascus.

The transportation of the displaced civilians was executed at the request of the Hasakah governor.

Noteworthy, displaced civilians from Deir Ezzor have fled the dire conditions in their province, and they were stranded recently in the Rajm Suleibi area near the Syria-Iraq border after the SDF prevented them from entering into Al-Hasakah two months ago.
