12 cases of dog bites were recorded in the city of Deir Ezzor within one week, according to a statement by the head of the dog control center in Deir Ezzor, a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network reported today.
Our reporter stated that the attacks were carried out by two dogs, the first a savage red dog with cut off ears in Al-Arfi neighborhood, and the second a white dog sitting on the river bed between the Taalila rest house and Al-Shawish sector.
Three days ago, a second incident of a dog attack on six people resulted in serious injuries, amidst the scarcity of medical materials, vaccine doses, and anti-rabies serum.
The injuries, which often occur at night, range from wounds to the thigh, shoulder, hand, abdomen, and back.
