A reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network said that the military convoy scheduled to head this morning towards the western Aleppo countryside was assembled last night near the Deir Ezzor military airport.
Our reporter added that the convoy consists of about 20 vehicles pulling 3 artillery pieces, including four-wheel drive vehicles with 23mm cannons, and includes groups from the “Fatimiyoun” and “Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas” militias, in addition to the Fifth Corps of the Russian First Division and two groups from the Republican Guard and the Fourth Division.
He pointed out that the gathering was seen last night with the installation of a flying checkpoint for military security near the air force checkpoint on the main road west of the town of al-Mar’iyyah in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The military movements from Deir Ezzor governorate towards Aleppo governorate come after the opposition factions took control of large areas in the western Aleppo countryside.
