According to activists, a delegation of oil engineers from the Syrian Oil Company arrived at the “Al-Ward” oil field in the countryside of Al-Bukamal city, east of Deir Ezzor.
Our reporter said that the engineers’ visit to the field aims to restart the oil wells of Al-Ward field after they stopped working for several months.
The oil wells under the control of the Syrian state in Deir Ezzor are exposed to theft and sabotage due to their being out of service.
