The Iranian Cultural Center rehabilitated pavements from the Mosque of al-Mufti down to the roundabout of al-Noor Hospital or the Central Park in the city of Deir Ezzor. The roundabout is known as the al-Haraka. Rehabilitating the al-Saloom Hospital (Formerly al-Noor Hospital) is about to be finished.
The Assad regime ordered people to clean their houses before starting rehabilitation early next week.
Earlier, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) militia turned the hospital into a headquarters, but they vacated it later and rehabilitated it. The Iranian Cultural Center won the bid announced by the Assad regime’s Awqaf Directorate. The bid allowed the center to invest in the hospital in return for 15 million Syrian pounds per year until unknown time. Reports indicate that the center intends to hand the hospital over to the IRGC commandership so that it can be a medical center for Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor.
