The Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor are about to finish the rehabilitation work of Al-Salloum Hospital, formerly known as Al-Nour Hospital. The Iranian militias focus on rehabilitating hospitals, crossings, and parks, with the aim of attracting people. Delegates of the Iranian militias are secretly involved in purchasing estates in Deir Ezzor.

A sign was placed on the front of the hospital bearing the name of Dr. “Waddah Al-Salloum” as he is the brother of the hospital builder Tarif Al-Salloum. Favoritism is rampant in such activities in the area.

Doctors and influential people in Deir Ezzor had obtained the investment of Salloum Hospital “Al-Nour” previously, during the Assad regime’s control of the city, in exchange for two billion pounds at the time, they are Dr. Waddah al-Saloum, Dr. Abdulrahman Mahjaa, Ahmad al-Ghadban, and Hussein al-Othman.

The tasks were distributed to them in the following manner, as Dr Mahjaa took over the medical supply of the hospital, al-Ghadban took over the management task, and the financial office was assigned to “al-Othman”.
