Deir ezzor 24 network correspondent said that an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) was killed during a clash between Daesh operatives and a patrol of the SDF yesterday, Friday, on Al-Hawayej-Al-Mayadeen road in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
Our correspondent added that the elements of Daesh who were riding in a van, opened fire at a patrol of the SDF while it was passing through the main street, to which the patrol responded and clashed with them for about 10 minutes, during which the patrol requested reinforcements, but Daesh elements fled before the reinforcements arrived.
It is indicated that Daesh operatives are active in the eastern and northern Deir Ezzor countryside, that is controlled by the SDF, and the occasionally carry out security operations in the region.
