Sources confirmed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that the Iranian militias have seized al-Mayadeen sports club in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The sources indicated that the Iranian militias have seized the club to use it for holding festivals and giving speeches to the people in the city, and that a high-ranking figure visited the club and laid the foundations for it to be used.
The Iranian militias have begun rehabilitating the club to use it for holding festivals with support of Iranian organizations in Al-Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor.
The sources added that the Iranian organizations seek to transform a number of the public buildings and institutions to centers and headquarters for telling people about Iran’s activities.
It is noteworthy that since it took control of Deir Ezzor countryside, Iran has seized dozens of the public buildings and turned them into military or security headquarters for its forces in the province.
