A picture showing Samir Kuntar, who spent 29 years in an Israeli prison and had been active in Syria before he got killed recently, with members of a group called ‘’Nafed al Sayd’’, who are bodyguards of Issam Zahr al Deen, general commander of the regime forces in Deir Ezzor, Syria.

Samir Kuntar, had visited regime held-areas several months ago during which he checked the fronts around the Deir Ezzor military airport. He also toured in the besieged neighbourhoods of al Jawra and al Jabila.

On the other hand, local sources in the regime-held neighbourhoods clarified to Deir Ezzor 24 that Kuntar might had played a role in the formation of the national defence forces. It is worth mentioning that the regime is using the case of Kuntar, former prisoner in Israeli jails, to promote itself. Kuntar had described the FSA as Zionists that must be fought to the death before he was killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike on a Hizboallah gathering in the area of Jurmana in Damascus.
