The Russian battalion responsible for protecting the Russian bridge linking Al-Shamiya with Al-Jazeera (western and eastern Deir Ezzor), between Al-Mariyah and Murat, prevented members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps militia from the eastern countryside from passing last night while returning from the switching shifts, forcing them to head towards the Iranian ferry located west of Al-Seyassah Bridge.
