The Russian forces continue to complete contracts with men and youth from Syria in general and Deir Ezzor in particular, taking advantage of their economic conditions to keep its interests safe on all fronts. Recruitment operations are concentrated in areas under the control of Assad’s forces.
After the recent withdrawal of French forces from Mali, Russia is preparing to send mercenaries to Mali in order to operate as guards and protect its interests there under the command of the Russian Wagner gangs, which are active in Syria, Libya and Mali recently.
Brokers affiliated with the Russian forces received instructions to open the door to volunteer for the Russian forces. Previously, Libya and now two new destinations are Ukraine and Mali.
Russia relies on luring recruits with money and high monthly pensions. In an earlier era, when mercenaries were sent to Libya, the pensions of recruits reached 1,500 US dollars. It also grants them other offers that differ from those offered by the Iranian militias or Assad’s forces.
