Agricultural associations stop working in Deir Ezzor

Language / اللغة العربية

DeirEzzor24 exclusive report :

Most of the agricultural associations in the Assad-controlled areas of Deir Ezzor stopped working, as a result of the great shortage in the provision of diesel fuel for agricultural machinery, and its poor distribution by the Farmers Union.

A liter of subsidized diesel is sold for 500 SYP, while its price in the free market reaches 200 SYP, which constitutes a burden on farmers, especially in light of the weak electric current, the presence of frequency protection, and the continuation of daily rationing hours, while the wheat crop needs continuous and abundant watering.
