Minibuses transportation wages between the city of Deir Ezzor and its countryside scored a remarkable increase, reaching double sometimes, especially at the time of heavy traffic jam at noon in Eid al-Adha.
Minibuses owners and drivers attributed the increase of transportation wages to the lack of fuel and its and its high prices if available, which complicates the situation, especially amidst the lack of monitoring and the Assad regime’s deliberate neglecting the area and not trying to reach solutions to help the civilians.
The transportation problem is one of the most important problems in the area. With the rise in transportation costs, the burdens on the people increase, and they face a new crisis that is added to their crises, which they do not have a solution to like other crises.
